The Atlantic Tripletail (Lobotes surinamensis) is a large fish found in the Atlantic Ocean, it is found in the tropics, and juvenilles often float on their sides, looking like a large dry leaf. Some fishermen call them steamboats and flashers.

This is the only fish in Lobotidae that can be found anywhere in the Atlantic Ocean. They are found in most, yet not all, tropical and sub-tropical seas.
